ORIGINAL PROPOSAL FOR TOWN HALL MEETING IN JUNE 2016
1.
BANNER
"THE LION ROARS - Church Voice for National
Reformation"
2.
OUR OBJECTIVES (what it's all about - our desired outcomes)
Our
immediate objectives are:
(a) Church mobilisation - that the Church and its voice may be one across the
land, particularly in the local area where God has placed us for service, through the :
· Voice of
prophecy - amplification of the clear,
penetrating voice of prophecy to guide
us through awakening, repentance, preparation and the struggle for victory
· Voice of
individual Christians - a surge in
the number of individual Christians serving God and the people outside the
Church as salt and light in the public square for the common good
· Voice of individual
Churches - reviewing their
strategies, culture and structure to ensure alignment with the plans and
purposes of God for such a time as this
· Voice of the
denominations - about the huge contribution since settlement
to the life of the disadvantaged and the soul of the nation
(b) Voice to Government
· A new narrative
- to launch a powerful new decentralisation
strategy to restore the vision of our founding fathers and to ensure that power
resides in the people rather than concentrated in the hands of distant
power-hungry centralising elites.
· election - to cause a significant swing away from ineffective
government
· plebiscite - to reverse the superficial majority support into a resounding
NO vote
(c) People's Groundswell - to activate and lead a sustainable community-based
groundswell by the people, for the people,
demanding a change of leadership style and national direction
(d) Commission the committed - pray for those who raise their hands at this meeting,
who are willing to raise their voice and join the movement and to pray for
those who are already on the move and answered God's call to Australia to rise
up for such a time as this.
3.
OUR PASSION
Our
passion and approach for this meeting, and many others like it, for such a time
as this in these last days is to see the Church lift up and project its voice
into the public arena as prophets, priests and kings, calling out for that kind
of national reform that shapes us to become one nation under God, working
boldly for the maximum good of all Australians.
Our passion is not
built on the world's motivations of lust, power, money, sex and fame - all of
which are played out before our eyes in great abundance. In such a time as this
. nations rage, trying to cast off the bands and cords of God (Ps 2) and to
replace that yoke with the yoke of Satan. That yoke will be heavy indeed and
lead to great anguish of the enslaved lost. In stark contrast, as white is to
black, the yoke of the Lord is light and easy and provides true rest for the people (Mat 11:28-30).
Our
passion must lead to repentance. We must repent and be zealous (Rev 3:19). Then
we will see great outcomes as a result of great faith in a great God and the
people see us in a different way - on fire with love for God and neighbour
Our passion is to
reflect the Lord's passion, for only in Him do we live, move and have our being
(Acts 17:28) - and to serve the King of Kings who has all government on His
shoulder (Isa 9:6-7).
Our passion is to hunger
and thirst for righteousness across the land. God will fill us for the fight - even in the face of persecution (Mat 5:6,11).
We desperately need the power of God to do that which we have not been able to
do ourselves. That power is found in scripture (Mat 22:29), particularly the
Gospel (Rom 1:16).
Our passion is to hear
the Voice of God for such a time as this. The lions roar is God's voice - it is
the voice of prophecy (Amos 3:8) . If we fail to echo that roar we shall be
powerless (1Co 1:17) and bring woe upon us ((1Cor 9:16). As He roars, let us
roar as well in every quarter, beginning with each individual Christian. We
will not see a seismic shift in this nation until that shift happens within
each of us. Then the Church will find
its voice for transformation and be heard anew across the land, above the noise
of deception, confusion and chaos below.
Our passion is to gather
regularly with the committed saints, in one accord in one place, and together
to lift up our voice to God and wait on Him for the power of God to fall on us for
witnessing to and serving the people (Acts 4:24-33)
Our
passion is that we go from these meetings, and many others like it, committed, engaged and zealous to stand and
fight for God and take back the ground the enemy has stolen and to preach,
teach, learn and with great courage (Jos 1:9) and
boldness in the face of the enemy to act out God's word concerning these
matters - without apathy, fear or compromise.
Our
passion is to follow Christ as He builds His church. Some, through fear of man
or compromised theology may choose not to follow and stay cold or lukewarm.
That's their choice. But as for us - we choose to follow and serve the Lord.
4.
CHURCH MOBILISATION
Aim - to
initiate a decentralised and uncompromising movement of God's people at an individual
and individual Church level and to encourage us, together with our denominational leaders to fight for Christian
identity and remind the people of Australia of the huge contribution the Church
has made to national welfare and culture. This requires various levels of mobilisation
- working from the ground up:
(a) Mobilising
the prophets - through encouragement, participation and careful listening
and confirmation with the word of God and the revelation to others by the
Spirit. This will include forth-telling from scripture and fore-telling through
special revelation and the impartation of wisdom. The right prophecy will be
extremely appropriate for the immediate warfare situation - saving a lot of
time, energy and resources in the process and maximising the steel punch of God
to pull down strongholds and take the ground. True prophets are not to be
despised. Look for the WOW factor in prophecy that cannot be manufactured by
man.
Our
immediate priority is repentance. We must
encourage those with prophetic zeal together with committed individual
Christians and Churches to immediately repent and obey the command to be
zealous. This will involve removal of all compromise from the pulpit and the
pew and zealous preaching and teaching from God's Word without man-made
additions or subtractions.
This will
mean we can individually and collectively prepare and move in one accord to seek
God for direction, wisdom and power. This must be done in the name of Jesus and
through the unadulterated message of the Cross. Then as we go, we can show, sow
and grow the Kingdom, including the public square.

the individual Christian

(d) Mobilising local street mission -
loving our neighbour more by increasing on-street prayer and mission work in
those local neighbourhoods immediately surrounding our Churches. This is a
powerful strategy on its own and fundamental to our whole strategic success for
winning the nation
(e) Mobilising
governance engagement - in those same local neighbourhoods be the voice of
the Church with local communities for engagement with ward councillors and
State and Federal representatives.
(f) Mobilising the popular groundswell - to partner with other concerned citizens to
take the high ground and save Australia from further moral, social and economic
decline - in short, to mobilise to take our country back. See later paragraph.
(g) Mobilising to win back public favour - to promote the
incredible credentials of the church loving our neighbours through practical
ministry to the disadvantaged . Unfortunately this is necessary because cultural
dementia has set it and many do not know (or choose not to remember) the
valuable past contribution of the Church in society for helping the under-privileged.
We have allowed the enemy to define the Church as being full of paedophiles and
who see religion as irrelevant, fundamentalist and fostering enemies of the
State.
Several
pages explaining these aspects of mobilisation strategy will be launched,
explained and distributed at the meeting.

VOICE TO GOVERNMENT
Aims
- to voice the need for strategic change
- to voice the need to restore the original
vision of our founding fathers - to show why and how this needs to be restored rather than relying on
the never-ending cycle of shallow and conceited "visions" trotted out
by ineffective, myopic leaders.
- to voice
a clear "design-brief" for politicians, government, setting out our
fundamental requirements for those in public office in terms of character and
governing principles.
- to voice
key issues relevant to the upcoming election and cause a swing back to the
people
- to voice
key issues relevant to the future plebiscite and cause a huge swing for a NO
vote
- to voice
and lead an ongoing, sustainable movement to ensure better government and
strategic change in the short and long term
(a) Need for Strategic Change
By and
large the big 4 major parties have failed us badly in leadership, character and
performance and only have themselves to blame. They have led us to become
addicted to mediocrity and we now demand something much better . Yet they still
have not got the message - their election policies for this election promise
more of the same the same empty promises, the same un-fundable pork-barrelling,
the same self-oriented personae.
We want
people in Parliament who are more interested in the public good of all
Australians than in self-interest and power for powers sake. This is a
national emergency. Its time for a change. It's time for a U-turn in strategic
thinking in order to win a significant upturn in national character and progress.
The voice of the "progressives" is deceptive, hollow, un-validated
and dangerous.
(b) Re-launch of the original vision
In stark
contrast to all of this , the founding fathers designed a Constitution with a
powerful vision for freedom, unity and government of the people, by the people
and for the people - for the maximum
good of all Australians.
This vision
was founded on the famous preamble to the Constitution (see Attachment 5
"Constitution Preamble"), where the key words are:
·
people
·
God
·
unite
The
basics are there - an indissoluble union between people and between the people
and God. Where this union is broken, forgotten or ignored then we cannot rely
on the blessing of Almighty God. The evidence of what happens when a nation
forgets God is all around us. Look at the demise of Communist and Fascist
nation-States and the decline and decadence of Western nations since 1945 -
even the USA and the UK. We have nothing to learn from centralists who seek to
enslave us with their multitudinous rules, regulations and demands for
political correctness.
Sadly the
spirit and vision of the founding fathers has been wrested away by these self-absorbed,
power-hungry centralising elites who promise much but deliver little, except division
and decline. They've had their turn. Now they must get out of the way and give
way to time-honoured strategies and the prevailing common sense of our founding
fathers and people who can at least tell right from wrong and rejoice in the
power of free speech to say so.
(c) Design Brief for Better Government
The main
weapon for restoring the original vision and to breathe new life into the
election, plebiscite, government, economics, community, culture and public
morality is a biblical, military and business strategy called "decentralisation".
A
one-page mobilisation strategy for this will be launched, explained and
distributed at the meeting (Attachment 6 - "National Reformation
Manifesto"). In this sense we are king-makers. Some may even rise up to be
kings serving the people.
(d) Election Swing
Aim - to cause a significant swing of votes at
the July 2 election to force people to sit up and ask "what just
happened?". Then we can tell them.
This
swing will be God-driven, involving a coalition of Christian parties agreeing with
the 3 part platform of the decentralisation strategy (Attachment 6 -
"National Reformation Manifesto"). Other minor parties will be
invited to agree with (or substantially agree with) that platform.
We will
also make "Safe Schools" and "Same Sex marriage" election
issues.
There is
plenty of concern about "Safe Schools" to work with . There will be
no plebiscite about "Same Sex marriage" after the election if Labour
wins. They have pledged to make it lawful shortly thereafter (unless it is
blocked by the Senate). There is no real comfort that Malcolm Turnbull will
follow through with a plebiscite.
In the
meantime its more strategic for us to tie these two things together as activist
homosexual promotion. While our leaders have been asleep at the wheel and the
rest of us compliantly dozing under the spell of political correctness the
centralising social engineers here and overseas have been busy planning the
demise of the Church and society in Australia through this twin-headed strategy
called "Safe Schools" and "Same Sex Marriage".
Their
plan is to undermine the truth and common-sense reality of male and female
roles, identity and family structures and to intimidate, marginalise, bully and
criminalise Christians into powerlessness through compromise, passivity and
silence - all of which of course is unbiblical. For them those consequences are
intended, very much like the process used in Nazi Germany, but for the majority
of Australians there will be "unintended consequences".
Our job
is to explain this clear and present danger to them as a matter of national
emergency. We must pull down this
stronghold and slay this dragon. The mobilisation strategy to overcome these
evils will be launched, explained and distributed at the meeting.
Handouts
include:
·
Marriage Alliance
brochure
·
Chris Brohier's
paper on legal aspects of SSM
·
relevant Family
Voice literature
·
newspaper
cuttings (e.g. Paul Kelly)
·
sermon guidelines
on both topics
·
bibliographies
etc
In
addition, there are three powerful messages that could be used with nominal
supporters:
·
fear of God
- say something like "I think it all sounds very ungodly. I don't think
God is going to be too happy with it. Then we'll be in for some unintended
consequences from that direction."
·
the twin-headed monster - say something like "it's just like the Safe
Schools thing - strange how both those initiatives have happened at the same
time. They must think we're fools. Imagine our kids being taught cross-dressing
in kindies and schools and not knowing who's in the toilet next to you (note -
use other pithy examples too). And what about being taught gender-bending stuff
and that it's actually OK to have two parents of the same sex - hardly the way
to grow up a child is it?"
·
fear of a secret agenda - say something like "whilst there seems to be a
favourable case on the basis of rights for a small minority, on closer
examination there looks like being a flood of unintended consequences that will
infringe the rights of the majority and cause a significant change in our
culture in the wrong direction. We're already sick and tired of being led down
the garden path. At the end of the day it's the tail trying to wag the dog. How
come 2% of the population can muster that sort of financial and political
power? Smells like faceless people overseas have a bigger agenda. I don't think
we're being told the full story."
(e) Plebiscite Swing
Aim - If a
plebiscite ever happens we aim to cause there to be a significant swing for a
NO vote, to make the politicians and the surrounding nations of the world ask
" what just happened?". Then we can tell them.
See above
notes on "Safe Schools" and "Same Sex marriage". Make them
twin issues (see above)
(f) Sustainable Struggle for Change
We shall
commit to unceasingly carry on with the mobilisation to see righteousness
prevail, the vision restored, exponential growth in the Church, our nation
restored and to be a witness to the nations. We shall see in our time the
triumph of the Created Order over the soon to crumble New World Order and further
tangible proof of the value of humbly relying on the blessing of Almighty God.
The history of Australia can then be properly told to future generations who
must learn for themselves the right way to live, rather than repeat the
mistakes of those who have gone before.

6. PEOPLES
GROUNDSWELL
Following
hard on the heels of the fresh narrative outlined above, we must lead the
people to see that this call and vision gets traction for reclaiming the heart and soul of Australia. We want our
country back. This requires committed leadership at the local level following a
decentralisation strategy in the Church and local community, orchestrating
upwards through suburbs, towns, regions and cities. Only then might the media
get on board. In the meantime we aim to own the conversation in the public
square through word-of-mouth, which doesn't cost us anything except
"blood, sweat and tears".
7. COMMISSIONING

the Spirit to fall.

ATTACHMENT 4 - The Gospel Spearhead

ATTACHMENT 5 - CONSTITUTION PREAMBLE

KEYWORDS >>>> people - god
- unite
ATTACHMENT 6 - "National Reformation Manifesto"
This is the people's "design
brief" for better government and repairing the nation.
(a) NATIONAL
CHARACTER VALUES
A short-list of
desirable qualities for the character and behaviour of politicians, public
servants, public debate and media reporting (e.g. respect, tolerance,
truthfulness, civic rights & responsibilities, positivism, public service,
culture protection, individual accountability etc)
(b) CORE POLITICAL
PLATFORM PRINCIPLES
The spearhead for
people-led political change is a new narrative with 3 core
constitution-honouring, nationalistic and patriotic themes - Decentralised
Government; Economics for the public good; Heritage-based community development
1. DECENTRALISED GOVERNMENT
A return to Constitutional sovereignty via a
"Constitution Restoration Act" to:
remove all
ungodly, divisive, nation-wrecking UN covenants, treaties and associated
apparatus
restore lost
State sovereignty by devolution of authority and responsibility to achieve:
zero duplication of services between State and Federal
governments
delegation of
authority and responsibility to the lowest community level possible in order to
overcome the disadvantages of big government and its often "once size fits
all", wasteful, ideological and ineffective approach - meaning a bigger
role for Local Government.
2. ECONOMIC
INTIATIVES MUST MAXIMISE THE PUBLIC GOOD - A new economic rationale:
(a)
To focus on creative and effective economic thinking
and action for the material advancement of the public good rather than the
enrichment of the few through unbridled self-interest and
(b) To accelerate
advances in public infrastructure, science and technology for the common good
and
(c) To unwind the
takeover and destruction of Australia through monopolistic and/or speculative
banking, globalisation, un-free trade, unwise privatisation and foreign
ownership and the dismantling of our industrial capacity
3. HERITAGE-BASED
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Recognising
that a strong, healthy, united culture can help drive strategy:
(a)
we all will not allow our unique Aboriginal and
Judeo-Christian heritage to be diminished by immigration, multi-culturalism,
social engineering, divisive hate politics and threats to the family and
children
(b)
we all will encourage custodianship of this unique
heritage so it is not lost for future generations
(c)
we all will not entertain legislation of rights that
threaten this heritage
(d)
we all commit to patriotic citizenship responsibility
and hard work
(e)
we all respect freedom of speech and religion
(f)
we all disavow deception, intimidation and bullying of
any kind
(g)
we all insist on ethical and moral leadership
(h)
we all work together to build community, social
capital and volunteerism
(i)
we all effectively harness the passion, creativity,
energy and skills of all Australians
